In its basement once lay a winery where a distinguished vermouth was crafted — a product so exceptional it reached international markets, including the United States. Even today, this space carries the spirit of a rich winemaking tradition and an authentic sense of history, setting this historic villa in Croatia apart as a place where heritage is still alive.
In 1967, the cellar was transformed into one of the first restaurants of its kind in the country — a vibrant gathering place of flavors, people, and social life. Over time, it evolved into a lively disco club that shaped generations and remained active until the late 1990s, adding yet another layer to the story of this unique Dalmatian coast villa.
